Tina has been a make-up artist to everyone, from Hollywood icons such as Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron, Rachel Weisz, and Cate Blanchett, to Penelope Cruz, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender to name but a few. Having worked on some of the most successful films of all time, including Titanic, The Martian, Spider Man and Mamma Mia, she is currently on the set of Mamma Mia 2.
Whether she’s called upon to create flawless complexions or design the whole look of A list stars in space suits, her method and expertise has seen her garner Oscar and Bafta nominations and win awards around the world. Tina is also now the founder of Tina Earnshaw Cosmetics.
Raised in London, Tina began her training at the BBC and on the sets of commercials and advertising campaigns for fashion power houses Loreal, Chanel and Dior. In 1994, Tina began a lasting partnership with Merchant Ivory, working on such productions as Shakespeare in Love, her reputation spread, and she was soon approached to be the chief make-up artist for the blockbuster film, Titanic. Following this, Tina became highly sought after and her phenomenal career has seen her live in Los Angeles, locate around the world and work repeatedly with the industry’s most renowned directors, including Sam Raimi and Ridley Scott
Tina has also been the creative ambassador for Max Factor International and continues to endorse numerous leading brands. As an internationally recognised make – up artist, Tina often does how-to segments on television and You Tube, with her advice being found in features and columns in high profile fashion magazines around the globe.
Tina’s creative influence on some of the biggest films in the world has been rooted in her passion for make up and its transformative power, grounded in a philosophy that as a make up artist, ‘you’re only as good as your tools’. For Tina, that meant she had to make her own in the pursuit of quality. A staple in the kits of other top make up artists, Tina’s brushes have been described ‘as the ideal texture and craftsmanship, expected from an industry icon’ (Naomi Donne – Chief make-up artist, Spectre, Skyfall)
In addition, Tina Earnshaw’s brushes and accessories have received numerous awards since their launch and accolades from customers worldwide. Most recently winning in 2017, the Attracta Beauty Award for ‘Best Make-up Brushes’.
